These simmer pots are terrific. The rounded body of the warmer never gets warm to the touch. The only part of this that is warm is the steel heating plate under the dish on top. The dish holding the wax is only minimally warm to the touch. This style is handy if you have children and/or pets. The sunflower pattern is quite cheery with blooms, ladybugs, and bumble bees.
